After receiving his Bachelor's degree in Trumpet Performance from the University of Mississippi, Brandon attended the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada, where he received a Certificate of Piano Technology. Upon completion of the program, Brandon was the only member of his class to be selected to serve a fellowship at the distinguished Tanglewood Music Institute, which serves as the summer home for the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Here, he had the opportunity to prepare pianos for such esteemed artists as Emmanuel Ax, John Williams, and James Levine.

            Upon concluding his fellowship, Brandon began working for Jordan Kitts Music, one of the largest and most reputable piano dealerships in the country.  While there, Brandon prepared pianos for the concert and artists division, which included tuning and maintenance in venues such as The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts,  Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Strathmore Arts Center, as well as for the Presidential Inauguration in 2008 including such artists as Wynton Marsalis, Carole King, James Taylor, George Duke, Kathleen Battle, Denyce Graves, and Lady Gaga. Brandon also performed more personalized services such as in-house preparation of pianos for customer delivery, performed in-home tunings and repairs, and performed work in the Jordan Kitts Piano Restoration Center. Here, he rebuilt entire piano actions, re-strung pianos, and worked closely with clients to achieve the touch and feel desired of their pianos.

            Brandon also worked closely with the Institutional Sales Department of Jordan Kitts to prepare pianos for selections at Columbus State University - Columbus, GA,  James Madison University - Harrisonburg, VA; Radford University - Radford, VA; and Shenandoah University, Winchester, VA.  Once these selections were prepared and delivered, Brandon was then chosen to travel to each college where he supervised the tuning and set-up of each piano to the specification of the customer.
